Have color it black behind the grill now.

Hello my friend,

so should the most of Kadett C look like, with the Golf 1 Spoiler (my favourite)
on the front and black colored behind the grill. the angry look of engine hood
is not directly my personal taste, but, here it‘s fine!

The xe block dissasebeled for parts, ready for honing and underflushing,  later the block will be overbored to 86.5 or 87 and install lowcomp piston and get it ready for turbo conversations.  aatsjoo!

testing new comp piston ring gap  old over 035 and new 025, need to file it down to about 035..orginal is 0.3mm to 0.5mm

Today i check all the new syl rings vs the old one..  the new one in syl 1 and 2 is 0,5mm and in syl 3 and 4 is about 0,49mm  and the old 1.0mm  ,so i will just file the rings for syl 3 and 4 just a little to make the 0.5mm blade goes easyer like syl 1 and 2 rings.     c20xe should have from 0.3mm to 0.5mm gap on standard pistons.
 
now the pistons having a diesel bath

Heavy duty steel wheel for oil pump will be replaced with the orginal cheap shit quality.

I will use the pump house that come with the engine cause it fit better and it had no damage with the pump wheel from before...just need to clean it!

And Upgrade for the valvesprings

  the orginal use to crack in 2 pieces and the valves can fall down in the cilynders and damage the engine.

Finally im done to figure out about this fitment.. now i will have the engine more center than the 7degrees to left side. i "just" modify the enginemounts.. took some time.. but it will work better..
just need to weld it together and make them strong..

New heavy duty retainers vs stock ,  the stock one can use to crack in two pieces and the valve will fall down in the silynder and make damage.  All new valve sealings are done on exhaust side.,.  inlet next.
